We recommend that you use the services of a freight forwarder or shipper that has experience with events in Hannover. Don’t risk having your exhibit materials arrive late—or not at all—by using a shipper without international trade show experience. |A number of our events are certified under the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Trade Fair Certification Program, a cooperative arrangement between private sector show organizers and the U.S. government.
Trade Fair Certification helps increase U.S. exports and expand U.S. participation in overseas tradeshows by providing U.S. Commercial Service promotional support at select events.
U.S. companies are entitled to reclaim VAT and, as such, we recommend that you keep all original invoices. In order to reclaim VAT, you must submit to the German tax authority a completed Application for Refund of Value-Added Tax.
If you do not already have a European tax representative, Deutsche Messe has partnered with ECOVIS to offer VAT reclamation services. You will also find listed on the Internet many VAT reclaim services. Please contact your finance department for assistance in reclaiming VAT.
